Protect Your Journey: Why Travel Insurance Matters
Travel is exciting, but it doesn’t always go to plan. That’s where travel insurance steps in – helping you recover costs if something unexpected happens, from cancellations and delays to lost luggage or medical emergencies overseas.
Whether you're heading overseas or staying local, our policies offer different levels of cover to suit your trip, and you can add extras like cruise or winter sports protection.
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) strongly recommends that Australians take out appropriate travel insurance every time they leave the country, even for short or familiar trips. Most Australian travel insurance policies cover things like overseas medical costs, cancellations, personal liability, lost or delayed luggage, and disruptions caused by natural disasters. Some policies also cover trips within Australia.
Before buying any policy, please read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) carefully to ensure the policy is right for your needs.
